Workers Resist brings together class-struggle unionists, working-class activists, and revolutionary socialists to build power where workers have the greatest capacity to transform society: the workplace. Through democratic unions and grassroots organizing, we develop new leadership and strengthen a socialist movement rooted in workers' collective power.

We are class-struggle unionists, working-class activists, and revolutionary socialists.
We are committed to developing leadership where working-class power is greatest — in the industries and workplaces that keep society running every day. We come together in the labor movement because it is where working people are already organized, already confronting the power of capital every day, and already capable of fighting back.
We believe workers have the power not only to win better wages, benefits, and working conditions, but to transform society. Our task is to build the organization, leadership, solidarity, and confidence necessary to turn that potential into power.

Why Workers?
Every school, hospital, warehouse, airport, factory, office, rail yard, and delivery network runs on our labor.
That gives working people enormous potential power.
Amazon workers. UPS workers. Airline workers. Hospital workers. Packinghouse workers. Educators. Stagehands. Transit workers. Janitors. Farm workers. Millions of us, together, possess the economic and social power to bring society to a halt — and the collective capacity to build something different.
But power doesn't come automatically from being a worker. It has to be organized.
That's why we prioritize building a strong class-struggle tendency in our unions, community organizing campaigns, tenant unions, and other concentrations of frontline workers.
January 23, 2026 — Day of Minneapolis Mass Strike. 5,000 working-class people — including aircraft cleaners, baggage handlers, and other service workers — gather to shutdown MSP airport to protest ICE abductions and murders.
ORGANIZING IN PRACTICE
January 23: Power in Practice.
On January 23, 2026, hundreds of thousands of workers across Minnesota participated in a mass strike against ICE and the federal occupation of our communities. It’s no accident that the following week, the Minnesota ruling class called for (and got) a dismantling of Operation Metro Surge. Members of Workers Resist played an important role alongside union members, community organizers, socialists, faith leaders, immigrant organizations, and thousands of others in helping build the action.
January 23 showed what becomes possible when workers move beyond protest and begin exercising their collective economic and social power.
It also showed us something else: moments of mass resistance don't sustain themselves. They require organization — relationships built beforehand, workers prepared to lead, democratic institutions capable of making decisions, and structures that can carry the struggle forward after the moment passes.
One of the most important lessons of January 23:
No one is coming to save us but us.
The working-class must get organized if we are going to be able to coordinate our collective economic and social power to resist the rising tide of fascism.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Capital divides.
Capitalism concentrates wealth by dividing workers from one another.
Workers create society.
The people who keep society functioning also possess the greatest power to transform it.
Democracy develops leaders.
Democratic unions are schools of working-class leadership and self-government.
Struggle transforms people.
Workers discover our collective power by exercising it together.
Solidarity builds power.
We reject the divisions capitalism depends upon and organize across race, gender, immigration status, industry, and community.
Socialism is democratic worker power.
A society organized for human need instead of private profit.
HOW WE BUILD POWER
From Worker Anger to Worker Power.
Capitalism creates anger every day. It shows up in wages that no longer cover the bills, impossible workloads, rising rents, unaffordable healthcare, union busting, layoffs, understaffed workplaces, and the feeling that no matter how hard we work, we're falling further behind. Millions of workers know something is deeply wrong long before they have words to describe it.
Workers Resist exists to transform that shared experience into solidarity, organization, and collective power to change society. Because anger alone does not create power. Organization does.
Workers Resist is building a network of workers across industries who can learn from one another, develop strategy together, support one another's struggles, and build power in their workplaces and unions.
Our priorities are to:
build class-struggle organization among frontline workers;
transform unions into democratic, fighting institutions controlled by their members;
identify and develop rank-and-file leaders;
connect workers across industries, unions, and communities;
provide political education rooted in organizing and struggle;
turn solidarity into a habit through showing up for one another's fights; and
bring more workers into the socialist movement through struggle alongside them.
We don't want workers to be an audience for political movements. We want workers to lead them.
INSIDE / OUTSIDE DSA
Inside DSA. Outside DSA. Rooted in the Working Class.
Workers Resist is an inside-outside caucus in the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).
We organize within DSA because it has built the largest democratic socialist infrastructure in the United States: chapters across the country, dues-based funding (so we’re not beholden to anyone but ourselves), democratic structures, and thousands of people committed to building a socialist future.
We want DSA to become more democratic and more deeply rooted in the frontline working class — a place where workers don't enter as guests, but develop as organizers, political thinkers, and leaders.
Outside DSA there are thousands of class-struggle activists in other organizations or not with any organization at all.
Some Workers Resist members are also members of other caucuses within DSA.
Our allegiance is to the working class.
Workers Resist helps connect workers, unions, and socialist organization so that experience flows in both directions: socialist politics become rooted in workplaces, and the lessons of workplace struggle strengthen the broader movement.
